Please, please if you don't know anything on how to help (or even if you do), if you know someone who might help, pass this on. A life is in danger.

It seems like death is dogging my heels... my lizard is the next victim- he looks like he's going to keel over any minute. His tail is shriveled like a prune, black spots cover his body that look like bruises and there's a brown lump filled with pus that is on his stomach that is growing worse with each passing day. I found him in this condition two days ago... I'm afraid if I turn away for a moment, he'll be dead.

Does anyone know what's wrong with him and better yet, how to help him? He'll be three in Febuary, yet his species usually lives 5-6 years in captivity (7 if taken care of extremely well). I don't want him to die... or if he must, I don't want him to be in pain. It seems like this is eating away at him from the inside out... his legs are starting to go numb, so he can't even catch his food to keep his strength.

Please... help...
